Vtg Goose in the Pond Quilt-Handmade/Hand Quilted Ice Cream Cone Border 84x65
This is a beautiful, vintage handmade quilt--hand pieced and hand quilted Quilt has Ice Cream Cone border brought to the back. The sashing is feedsack material with a small red design. Quilt has a couple of stain spots on one quilt block-pics 8&9.
Pic #7 shows a yellow stain on the sashing. Pic #10 shows a repair in the fabric--which I believe was repaired before the quilt was made. Even though there are a couple of stains, I don't think this quilt has never been used.
It has been freshly laundered--stains in pic 8&9 are lighter than they were. Light batting between the layers. Was a wedding gift-probably from the 60s'. Measures approximately 84" x 65". Pictured on a queen size bed.
