VTG Feedsack Quilt Butterfly Patchwork Handquilted 66 X 77 Applique Embroider

  

30 Butterflies Beautiful handquilting by a talented quilter. This vintage handmade patchwork quilt is a true Americana handcrafted piece. Featuring a rectangular shape and measuring approximately 77 inches in length and 66 inches in width, this full sized quilt is made from feedsack and vintage material. This boasts a charming multicolor butterfly pattern that is applique and embroidered on 30 patchwork blocks that each measure approximately 10" x 11".

This has a pink feedsack backing. There is tatters along the out side border. Hand pieced and hand quilted between an estimated 1930 to 1940 timeframe. This original piece was very nicely hand quilted with a total of butterfly blocks. It is medium weight and perfect for adding a touch of vintage charm to any cabin or bedroom.

This one-of-a-kind quilt is a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Bright & colorful BUT does have some wear. It does have a few very small light spots that I have not tried to remove... I did not wash, treat or dry it. I did hang it outside to refresh it, so has had the morning dew on it.
