VTG Antique Hand Stiched Heavily Quilted Dresden Plate Quilt 80X65 Bedspread
1957 handmade quilt sewn by my great grandmother Anna Frampton Vandivort in 1957. I remember my mom receiving it from her mom in the 1970's. She had it professionally cleaned & pressed & it sat in a box in her linen closet. I inherited it 15 years ago and it's been boxed up in my linen closet. Clearly all my family will do is store it safely out of sight!
It should be used & loved. I examined it carefully & found 2 light spots, see the last 2 photos. I have no idea what or why they are there, it wasn't me!
Other than that it is in excellent condition & very lightly used other perhaps than by folks few generations back. The colors are bright & the tiny stitches must have taken forever.
