This is quite a find! A wonderful example of this pattern. Has a simple beauty and fantastic stitching. Hard to find unused never washed quilts of this era and earlier. This was made and put away.

Retains pencil markings of the pattern. Alternating white blocks are stitched with a round grape and leaf medallion motif.

This is a Pennsylvania quilt and has the wonderful hand sewing they are known for, tiny even stitches, thin batting. Entirely hand quilted and sewn.

Backing is the same plain white fabric matching the front. The reserve on this quilt is very reasonable! Make a fair offer and it's yours.
