VTG 1978 Handmade KING SIZE DOUBLE WEDDING RING QUILT Feed Sack Floral 100x102
(Made in 1978 using older feed sack florals). Glorious bright King size (100 x 112) double wedding ring quilt, expertly hand sewn with floral and geometric quilting in the white spaces. As you can see, it hangs very long on a King size bed. It has been used and is in overall very good to excellent condition.
Most of the prints are clear and vibrant and most of the hundreds of seams and quilting are intact. A bit of quilting missing here and there in the solid blue and gold pieces. There is one particular yellow fabric that did not fare as well as the others--I have tried to include photos of the worn pieces and seams that have come apart--see the photos near the end for details. There is one red mark and two small brown marksalso seen in the photos--I have not tried to remove them.Please ask any questions I might not have covered here :.
