Vintage Rosemont Hand Made Hand Stitched Quilt 76" x 86" Good Condition. This quilt was ordered many decades ago by an elderly couple who is moving and no longer has room for this lovely quilt. They ordered the quilt from a Rosemont catalog similar to the one for which I have provided a photo. Rosemont is a company whose goal is to. Create exact reproductions of bed linens, rugs, and other textiles from a home called ROSEMONT, which is described below on the cover page of the catalog. "ROSEMONT" is the oldest house in the town of Marion, and from it the work we do is directed. In it are some of the things we copy and through it grow the ideals of craftsmanship we hope will survive our generation.
The quilt is made of all cotton and is in excellent shape, except for 2 stains that are shown in the photos. The condition of the cotton, stitching, and batting are all excellent. I have not laundered the quilt or tried to remove the stains. From a smoke- and pet-free home.
