Vintage Quilt TOP SPIDER WEB 1949 Newspaper Piecing still attached in places

I'm happy to answer promptly. Appears to have never been washed. Extra bonus - On the backside are some places where the paper piecing old newspaper is from the Saturday Evening Post November 27, 1948 is still attached!

Some small headlines of the times can be read. Appears to be from Madison, Wisconsin. It will need some long threads clipped which would have likely been done if it was going to be quilted back in the day.

Most of the construction appears to be machine (or treadle machine) stitched. Some hand stitching is possible. This beauty can be enjoyed as it is - or. Finished into a beautiful quilt to enjoy! Made into the cutest jacket, jumper or skirt!
