Absolutely beautiful quilt with 2 pillow shams. A colonial or maybe Victorian style. The quilt measures 87 x 85, queen size if you like your cover to hang over the edge of bed, or king for no hangover. The only flaw is on the pillow shams, the buttons are missing that close the ends, however I found you dont need to button it all, the pillows stay right in, could easily sew a button back on if you wanted to.

The shams measure 30 x 23. This vintage quilt is a timeless quilt, made in the old days, when quality was key. The fabric is 100% cotton with cotton fill also, the scalloped edges are gorgeous! I have no idea, unfortunately, of the quilts exact age.

I bought new at a quilt fair 20 plus years ago, it did win, this was in Erwin, TN at the Womens Ruritan quilt and home baked goods fundraiser. It is a very small town, I grew up there. Thats all the extra info I can think to add.

I have laundered it and it has absolutely no flaws, no broken stitches, or stains. This quilt is very heavy duty, it is not made with that cheap poly fill, its true old fashioned cotton all through.
