Wonderful Vintage Pink & White Embroidered Animal Baby CRIB QUILT, very well made! The nine blocks each feature a hand embroidered nursery animal.

As best as I could find out, this was made in NE Ohio in the early 1940's. Hand quilted, averages 8-10 stitches per inch. It has been dry cleaned and there are a few spots that did not come out. Still beautiful, will show closeups of areas. There is a stain behind the snowman's hat, that measures 2 by 2 inches.

A spot to the right of the hat about the size of a quarter. These are both visible on both sides, coffee colored and fairly light. There are two dot size rust colored spots shown in a picture, only visible on back side.

There is a penny size dot, near center fold, visible on backside, but too light to get to show in a picture. Also a light coffee color.

It measures 46 by 38 inches. Fabric is strong and the colors are bright. Embroidery is tight and complete.
