Vintage Handmade Yellow SUNFLOWER QUILT Hand Quilted Great Condition 72 X 86

  
This is a vintage sunflower quilt. It has hand embroidery around each quilt block, and is hand quilted. Please see the photos of the front and back and details. One block has a ladybug embroidered on one petal. It also has the date 1961 embroidered on one of the back corners. The back has two spots near the bottom hem. I have put a quarter next to each spot, so you can gauge the size in the last two photos. The background of the quilt is white.

I think the first photo looks more white on one side than the other because my overhead light has a yellow cast. The quilt is the same background color, front and back. This quilt is 57 years old and has been used at some point, so has a few small signs of use. It is still in great condition. This quilt was made in Kansas and the Sunflower is the state flower of Kansas.
