Grandmother's Flower Garden was the most popular quilt pattern during the Depression, made from rag bag scraps that evoked a cheerful floral display. The earliest hexagonal quilt, also known as a Mosaic or Honeycomb design, is from 1807, when the hexagons were 1 or smaller. This quilt has 2 hexagons, a hexagonal edge, and is probably from the 1930's-40's.

It's in very good condition, with no noticeable tears and a few minor stains or discolorations. It measures approximately 77" x 95".
