Vintage Handmade Parasol Lady Southern Belle Umbrella Sue quilt circa 1940-1960

  
Stunning vintage SUNBONNET SUE PARASOL SOUTHERN BELLES patterned quilt in predominately pink and white, with printed and patterned multi color & solid color fabrics. If you didn't know the quilter and how to identify vintage fabrics, it almost looks TOO perfect to be over 60 years old.

As children, each one only ever used the first quilts she had made for them, these were stored and forgotten until mom found them in storage at my stepdad's and asked me to list them. I have had them examined by 2 local antique dealers who specialize in quilts, and both independently assured me that they are authentic to the time period stated but are in unbelievably remarkable near perfect condition, no yellowing, no fading, no moth holes, vibrant colors. I have been an antique collector and appraiser for over 40 years and i DO NOT ever over state the condition of anything i list. I was also president of the Great Lakes Barbie Collectors for 4 terms with a worldwide following long before home computers existed.
