Vintage Handmade Multicolor Pinwheels Kites Quilt 87x82. This very nice homemade quilt depicts triangles that form something like kites on a pinwheel. The sashing is yellow, but probably because the quilter ran out, some of the sashing is a different shade of yellow.

The batting is likely thin cotton. The hand quilting is very, very nice indeed. There is a light blue border followed by an outer yellow border, and finished with light blue binding. The backing is cotton or muslin. As with all vintage quilts, there may be minor seam separations and vague, diffuse stains.

Measures approximately 87x82 and shown on my famous queen bed. This quilt did not come from a department store.
