Vintage Handmade Hexagonal Pieced Patchwork Quilt A524

  

A lovely hand stitched quilt in a hexagonal pieced pattern, 7 across the width and 8 up and down the length. The sections all have yellow centers, surrounded by 6 pink hexagons, 12 pastel hexagons, 18 solid white hexagons and then finished with 24 solid green hexagon pieces.

The hexagonal pattern is a bit different at the top and bottom where the first row of pink hexagons is adjacent to the green outer border (see photos). It has light batting and the reverse is white. Sized for double bed (for reference, the photos were taken on a double). We are offering two of these quilts. We see only the most minimal fraying and each has a faint spot (see last photos). 75" wide x 99" long.
