Vintage Handmade Crazy Quilt Silk and Velvet. 83 x 72

  
Vintage American Handmade Crazy Quilt Coverlet 72" x 83". Beautifully pieced with silk, cotton and hand embroidered details. In it's day, this was a beauty, but improper storage and age have taken it's toll. The colors are still vibrant, but several of the silk pieces have frayed, there are many lose embroidery threads, and a small stain on the back. I haven't tried to clean it.

Some sections are in great condition (see photos for examples of both) and there is definite potential for restoration or re-purpose.
