Vintage Handmade Applique Quilt Blue & White Flowers. The quilt measures approximately 78" X 96". It is in "as found" condition -- no repairs or cleaning. I have seen no tears, holes, or fabric deterioration. There is a small stains -- in the picture of the whole quilt, the stain is just below the corner of the blue flowers, bottom left group, in the white center area. The applique work, embroidery, and quilting were all done by hand. The applique was done with tiny, even stitches.

Quilting stitches average 12 stitches per inch counting both the top and bottom stitches. The binding is the same light blue as the border and center flowers. The quilt has probably been used very little, if at all, and it probably has never been laundered. This simple but stunning quilt would make an excellent addition to your collection.
