Vintage Handmade Amish Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt A466

  
A lovely hand-stitched pieced quilt in the Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern, well known among antique and vintage Amish coverlets. The pieces are all hexagonal sections of a variety of fabrics. The pastel colors appear fresh and bright and the edges are done in green piping. There is no batting between the top and bottom. Sized for double or single bed (for reference, the photos were taken on a queen).

The condition is excellent for a vintage quilt, with minimal fraying of the fabric. We find a few areas where there is some faint yellowing especially in the top left section although not so noticeable (see photos). 74" wide x 84" long.
