Vintage FLORAL STAR 8 Point Quilt, Hand Stitched, 20 Squares, 84 X 102

  

These Lovely Vintage Quilts Are The BEST, Right?? I have had this Vintage "Star Floral" Quilt that is Hand Stitched for several years and have used it in so many rooms and in so many different ways-you are only limited by your imagination! Apologies if I have incorrectly identified the quilt pattern! I know it's not the Dresden plate pattern or the Sunburst pattern, but this was as close as I could find.

To me, it looks like giant sunflowers! Most often on a double bed in a guest room, this pretty and bright yellow and green quilt was always loved when guests came for a weekend visit! It's so cheerful with the floral stars created with all sorts of calico fabrics and each "Star Floral" is hand stitched. The ENTIRE Quilt has been hand stitched, too, and it's always been carefully stored to protect the quilt from fading or other damage.

Each quilt square is surrounded by cheerful and bright yellow fabric with a splash of green at each corner, and then the entire quilt has a large green border with a yellow accent edge. As shown, the entire back of the quilt is the same cheerful yellow fabric. This quilt is more rectangular in shape. It has four squares going across and five squares going up. The quilt measures just shy of 84 inches across (or SEVEN FEET) and about 102 inches high (or EIGHT FEET, SIX INCHES). This quilt is in really great condition! The fabric is nice and crisp-I don't think it's been washed or used that much. I only used it once or twice in my guest room, always removed the quilt when guests stayed, and carefully stored it in those plastic quilt bags with zippers. If more, I will pay the extra cost as a special thank you!
