Antique / Vintage Handmade Quilt. XL King 116 x 107 inches. Jewel tone crushed velvet fabric. She had told me when she was around 13 years old, her town would host a quilting party. Several other girls around the same age would attend.

Prior to attending they would go to boutique shops and get scraps of fabric. They would work on one quilt for sometimes a year. Once the quilt was finished they would hold a drawing to see who would get to keep the quilt. She could not keep this quilt any longer because she was moving into a retirement home.

The outer side of the quilt is in great condition. There aren't any noticeable stains or rips. There is some fading on the underside of the quilt. These quilt has been recently dry cleaned.
