Vintage antique handmade quilt

  

Its been in the chest for a while so its kind of wrinkled should lay flat once its laid out. This is the Lemoyne star pattern I believe its made in the late 1800s to early 1900s. It displays very well there are some fabrics that have deteriorated because of the color scheme unless you get very close to it you dont notice them. There are nine star blocks each measures 20 x 20. Tiny fine hand quilted stitches half inch or less apart I bought this for a cutter quilt and just could not bring myself to cut it.

So much craftsmanship in this beautiful old quilt. The Sashing is put together with that cheddar orange that was so popular in that era. I did not see any major stains there might be slight discoloration here or there but I could not see it measures 70 x 73 this has been washed and is clean no bad smells.
