Vintage 1880s Barn Raising Log Cabin Antique Quilt EXTENSIVE HAND EMBROIDERY

  

This DAZZLING cotton and wool 1880's barn raising log cabin quilt is all hand stitched, with unusual hatch stitching around the piecework. It measures 70" X 88" and is in very good condition, with the occasional moth nibble and a few popped embroidery stitches. The back and treadle machine stitched binding are the same inky blue gingham, and there is no batting (summer weight).
