Unusual vintage antique iris quilt hand made

  
From my great grandmother's estate (born 1872) this enchanting and colorful quilt. It measures 76" by 88.5" so would fit a full or queen bed. In good shape for its age, it's been in storage for many, many years. I acquired it in 1999 from my grandmother. The quilting is beautiful and the stitching is hand done. No defects or tears, no staining, colours are bright but in the pastel-ish range. A very fine example of early twentieth century handiwork.
