The Quilt has 20 Squares, Hand Cross Stitched, each by a different individual. Every Stitched Scene has the Makers Initials and Date 1985, Sewn underneath. The Hand Crosstitched Senes are as follows- Historic 18th Century Churches in Downtown Charleston, a Pier on the Beach, Ice Wagon, Several Historic Houses in Charleston, a Basket Weaver Lady, a Park on the Battery, the Harbor and Ft. Cotton Calico pattern Fabric seperates the sections.

Also, a different Cotton Printed Calico Fabric, in the same colors, is sewn on the Back and the the Borders. There are approximately 5 Stitches per Inch. These ladies did a beautiful job.

The condition is VERY good. Clean, oder free, with no stains or damage. It has been stored away, since the 1990s. I had it dry cleaned recently, just to refresh it. The Colors are bright and beautiful.
