This MAGNIFICENT wool and cotton 1880's / 1890's crazy tied q. Uilt is all hand stitched, with elaborate hand embroidered accents, including a cat, bird, horse, man fishing, monograms, and other embellishments. It measures 72" X 90" and is in very good condition, with two pieces showing light wear, and some very light wear in the blue border. The back and hand stitched (with elaborate red hatch stitching) binding are the same early brown print, and the batting, if any, is very thin -- making htis not as heavy of clunky as your typical wool quilt. The quilt came out of the estate of Mary Hossler Arnett of Tiffin, Ohio.
