OUTSTANDING Vintage 1870's Stars Antique Quilt VERY EARLY FABRICS! This VIBRANT cotton stars quilt is hand pieced and treadle machine quilted, consisting of VERY early fabrics dating from the pre-1830 era to the 1860's/1870's.
The quilt measures 72" X 80" and is in excellent, never washed condition, with a couple of small spots (most visible on the back), and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall. There is grid quilting by treadle machine throughout. The back and hand stitched binding are the same 1860's/1870's print, and the batting is thin.
