OMG! Vintage Baltimore Album Appliqué Quilt Hand Stitched 89x87 Sampler 1970s

  
This quilt is a sight to behold. I can't image the time spent hand cutting then sewing each piece.

The Baltimore album or Baltimore Friendship Quilt originate around the 1850s. There was a renaissance to recreate these quilts in the 1960s-1970s. Based on the fabrics used in this quilt I think that is when this quilt was created. Most of the fabric looks cotton to me but assuming that this quilt was made around the 1970s then I would assume that there is some cotton blend or synthetic blend also used. Appears to be all hand stitched.

This quilt is in very good condition. Structurally it is in amazing shape, no holes, no rips, no tears, no funky smells. There is some light staining throughout the quilt, both sides.

Assuming this is a 50+ year old white quilt, it has an appropriate amount of straining. Unfortunately there is no information included with this quilt.
