Colorful Handmade Antique Patchwork Quilt, "BASKET PATTERN", c. DESCRIPTION: Another gorgeous and very colorful antique handmade patchwork quilt from my 40 year collection. Very intricate and colorful, and a great "BASKETS" pattern. It is an antique piece, machine pieced and HAND TIED, made c. CHECK OUT THE GREAT FABRICS!!

This is a nice design that would look very good in a variety of locations and houses. Because of the variety of colors, it will go in any room, with any color scheme.

It has a nice 2 1/2 light blue border and backing which is particularly nice for matching. The edging material has been hand "blanket stitched" around the entire perimeter, as shown. Condition overall, and colors are very bright. VERY IMPRESSIVE, AND CONSISTS OF (143) full baskets and an additional (52) 1/2 baskets around the edge. BASKETS ARE ALSO "ON POINT", AND THIS DESIGN STYLE IS THE HARDEST TO MAKE. I have not laundered this quilt and preferred to keep it just as it came, "as found", from the estate, especially considering its excellent condition. A really nice looking quilt for display, for use on a bed, or for background in a period collection. THIS IS A GREAT, FINISHED QUILT FOR YOUR COLLECTION OR FOR A GIFT. THIS HAS BEEN PART OF MY PERSONAL COLLECTION AND IS JUST AS FOUND IN AN EARLY MASSACHUSETTS ESTATE.
