Magnificent Antique Crazy Quilt with American Flag, Fish & More

  

A truly amazing antique crazy quilt that is 72 square. It has a channel on one end so that it can be hung on a wall, or it would also look fabulous at the foot of a bed. It features an American flag in one corner, an embroidered fish, an appliqued artist's pallette, embroidered monograms L. A butterfly and so much more.

The stitching is wonderful, and the backing is a satin red cotton. This is one for the ages. Condition: there is some shredding next to the L.

There is a beige piece that is shredding, and there are other places of loss. But the backing is good, and this is in overall good antique condition.
