Important c 1847 Star QUILT Antique Dated Signed Middletown Connecticut. An early quilt star quilt from a Connecticut estate! The quilt is signed on back as follows. This quilt belonged to Sarah Newell Plyter niece of Polly Finch or Funch Coy. Measures 94 x 78 inches. Hand quilted at 8 stitches per inch. The binding is hand sewn. There's age spotting tanning in places. A special find for the collector. We helped assemble collections world wide making long time friends and return customers along the way.
