Handmade 1930s Applique & Patchwork Quilt w Pink Water Lilies Flowers & Note

  

White and pink, combination of patchwork, applique and embroidery, with pattern of flowers -- probably water lotus? Even the quilting is pretty. Measures about 80 x 86 inches. With hand-written note on its background: Made by Vivian Salisbury sometime in 1936 or 1937. Given to Kristi Robinson in 1980.
