1930s Patchwork Double Wedding Ring Quilt in MANY Vibrant colors that have not faded over the years! The quilt was sewn by a missionary group for Auntie Irma who was probably a missionary herself. A note that came with the quilt describing this provenance is included. This one was stored away properly. Dimensions approximately 72 x 82.
Hand Pieced, Hand & Machine Stitched Binding, Hand Quilted at 7-8 stitches per inch. Cotton, Muslin, & Feedsack Fabrics with Cotton Batting.
Condition is Excellent with no holes, tears, or worn through areas. You can still see some of the pencil lines used to mark the quilting pattern. Age spotting and other spotting noted mostly on back (see pics).
One area of spotting appeared to come through very lightly to the front (see pic), but is likely to come out in this ones first wash.
