Feathered Star Antique Summer Quilt Coverlet 88x88 Great Colors

  

88 in x 88 in. Features a unique "Feathered Star" block in colors of turkey red, overdyed green, and chrome, finished with a yellow binding and a white backing. The colors are still vibrant and crisp. The pencil "quilting marks" are still on the quilt.

This quilt has not been cleaned. My favorite thing about this quilt is the maker included a "humility block" (see last photo).

Excellent work on the "Y seams". Quilt top is displayed on a king size bed. This quilt top is handstitched.

Quilt - 88" x 88". Feather Star Block - 15" x 15". Center block - 5.5" X 5.5". I would date this quilt late 19th century to early 20th century. The quilt is in great condition.

No holes or separation of seams. Pencil marks for quilting outline are still present. Some discoloration to the white fabric and a few small stains.

Backing shows age stains along the "fold" line. Please review all photos for the condition of this item. I try to highlight any stains, holes, or flaws in photos and description.
