Crisp Bold Antique 1930's Wild Goose Chase Quilt
This is an antique quilt from the 1920-40's. It is a very graphic and bold Wild Goose Chase pattern. The maker has reversed the colors in the four corner blocks. There are two outer borders. The colors are cornflower blue, chrome orange and cream.
The colors are vivid and bright. It is hand quilted in original designs of leaves and tulips.
The fabrics are sturdy and it has never been washed. The pencil lines are still visible. It has a very thin muslin binding that is hand stitched and the back is muslin also.
