COLORFUL Vintage Wool One Patch Checkerboard Antique Quilt Signed & Dated 1923

  

This BEAUTIFUL cotton and wool signature quilt is all hand embroidered and hand cross stitched, with a monogram in each block and the date "1923" in the center. It measures 72" X 72" and is very good condition, with a couple of small moth nibbles, light color variation on the pink back, and no wear. The back and hand stitched binding are solid pink cotton, and there is no batting.

The quilt came out of NE Pennsylvania. The VIBRANT COLORS and DENSE EMBROIDERY make this 100+ year old beauty stand out!
