An antique hand-quilted cotton American patchwork quilt -- circa 1890's-1920's -- w/small blue-&-white blocks and intricate hand-stitched quilting covering front and intricate hand stitching covering rear. A superb example of late 19thC-early-20th-century quilting for precise execution of tiny hand-done stitches on large surface and quilting in sync w/ Art Nouveau designs of the period. This is the genuine genre quilt often copied and mass produced today. In excellent condition w/ several tiny marks (pls see composite) and 1 tear -- shown in the image of quilt w/ hand-graphic. Dimensions 86" x 80.75".
