ANTIQUE VINTAGE HANDMADE OHIO Patchwork QUILT Diamond Cheddar NEVER USED PERFECT
RARE FIND UNUSED UNWASHED VINTAGE HANDMADE PATCHWORK QUILT. This beautiful finished quilt was handmade by Virginia Mason in Ohio sometime in the 1960's - 1970's. It has never been used and was stored away in protective wrapping since it was made. It looks like it has never been washed. It is in pristine mint condition, no damage, no wear, no bleeding, no fading, no spots, no loose threads, no holes, no dinginess, no smells, it is perfect!!! Each and every little piece was hand cut, hand pieced and hand quilted, no machine stitching anywhere. It features a multi-colored, multi-patterned diamond flower garden pattern with beautiful bright cheddar yellow chain scalloped edge borders and trim.
The top was made with feedsack type patterned fabric. The back is pure white and shows all the tiny little hand stitching. The batting is thin - medium weight. The hand stitching/quilting measures about 8 stitches per inch.
You will not find another quilt as nice as this one unless you made it yourself. It measures 90" wide by 96" long approximately. It was pictured laying over a Eastern King size bed for size comparison and will fit very nicely on a queen or full size bed.
