Antique Shirting & Calicos Old Log Cabin Sunshine & Shadow 1900's Quilt 90x90

  
Old shirting fabrics and some old calicos. The logs measure about 1 wide. Machine quilted border & solid color backing. There are some brown strips (all the same print) that have deteriorated. I believe some of the dyes in some antique fabrics will cause this over time. I found a few small light spots as well, also pictured. I discovered that there are 3 layers: the pieced top, a white probably muslin foundation and the backing.

The border does not have a middle layer. It looks to me like the log cabin top was stitched long, long ago before the border and backing were added. The border fabric is a perfect design choice. Works well on a queen size bed.

Photographed on a king size bed. I believe the fabrics date between 1900 - 1920 I do not see any feedback fabrics.
