Antique 1920s Temperance Tree Quilt 90x89

  

This is a rare and unusual Temperance Tree quilt from the 1920s or earlier. It is the only Temperance Tree I have in my large collection. The trees themselves are made of different fabric, but the alternating blocks are pink and blue. Age and use mean that there are seam breaks and stains and spots as pictured.

There may be smaller flaws that are not pictured. I did not try to launder this since there are no off putting smells, and there is no guarantee the stains will come out. The batting is very thin cotton as can be seen in the seam break. The back is that old time dark pink color.
