AMAZING Vintage 30's Marie Webster May Tulips Applique Antique Quilt BORDER

  

This MAGNIFICENT cotton 30's Marie Webster "May Tulips" quilt is hand appliqued and hand quilted, with a complex tulip border. It measures 90" X 90" and is in excellent condition, with one grayish spot near the edge (see pic) and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall. The quilting is superb, with quilting around the applique and in close grid and feathered designs in the background, all at an even 8-9 stitches to the inch with faint pencil marks still visible in places.

The back is white, the hand stitched binding is solid green, and the batting is thin. The CHEERY SPRING COLORS, LUSH HAND QUILTING, and GREAT DESIGN make this vintage COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out!
