Amazing Early 19th Century Antique Chintz Star Burst QUILT 96x96. This is an wonderful early antique star quilt with chintz border and fabulous quilting!
Turkey red and green on an off white background. The border is a lovely chintz floral print. Expertly hand quilted at 11-12 stitches per inch. Features quilted feathered wreaths with 1/16 double rod quilting, 1/4' rod quilting, and tiny fish scale quilting.
Measures a large 96" x 96". In good, not perfect condition.
There is age tanning/fold lines and light spotting, the chintz border has surface wear, and a couple of the printed green pieces have very mild wear from the ink dissolving the fabric, the edges are worn.
