There are 676 Squares approximately 2-1/2"x2-1/2". This quilt top was stitched by hand back in approximately 1980's. The quilt top was finished and stored. As was common, someone would stitch the top and not have the financial resources or time to quilt it by hand and it would sit on a shelf, unused, until someone finally sells the quilt top to someone who will finish it off so it can be enjoyed.
