Fantastic 1890s quilt in the log cabin courthouse steps pattern. Made by three ladies from Goshen and Henderson Alabama.

Each log cabin square is 7" x 7" and is pieced with 12 different fabrics. Fabrics include silks, cottons and wools. Hand tied and hand sewn. The backing is a green wool.

It measures 74" x 68" and is shown on a full size bed. It presents well but has some shredding fabrics, particularly the silks. There are some seam separations between squares that could be repaired pretty easily. The backing has three or four moth holes.
