Vintage Triple Border Hand Made Grandmothers Flower Garden Quilt Feedsack
Very lovely, all cotton, vintage Triple Border Hand Made Grandmothers Flower Garden Quilt with Feedsack Fabrics. This beautiful quilt is entirely Hand Pieced and Hand Quilted with Scalloped Edges all the way around. Hexagons are only 1.5 across widest point.
Hand stitching is one at 5 stitches per inch. Backing is muslin and there is a medium weight cotton batting. Dark Green binding is applied around the scalloped edge by hand.There is minor fading to some of the feedsack fabric from use through the years and there is some overall yellowing to the muslin. I see a few, very small, light spots. I don't find any holes. A fantastic looking quilt that is ready to use, display or a great gift for the collector.
