In addition, we are listing, where noted, quilts from my wife's Mother and Grandmother. All the quilts have been verbally appraised by a very knowledgeable certified appraiser as to condition and description. These Quilts are excellent examples of our uniquely American vanishing art form. This particular quilt was built by my Grandmother, in an APPLE CORE style. The quilt was probably completed by my Grandmother in the 1940's It is Hand pieced and Hand quilted using cotton fabrics and cotton batting.

It was considered by the Appraiser to be "Great Stitching". According to the Appraiser it is considered "Rough" quality, because this quilt was used by a child and the edges are frayed, however, the center is in good condition so, a repair would make it a nice collectors quilt.
