Vintage Hand Made Folk Art Appliqued Floral Wreath Design Quilt
For sale is a wonderful vintage hand made folk art quilt that I found in Hailey, Idaho, which is considered the Sun Valley area. The quilt is machine pieced, but hand appliqued and quilted. Each appliqued design is made with pink 8-petal flowers that have dark fuchsia centers, along with 2-petal tulips in the same fuchsia color. The stems are a fairly dark green, and the leaves are a lighter green. There are a total of 12 appliqued wreaths all o an off-white background. There is a wide pink border all the way around, ante the binding and back of the quilt are also pink. The quilt measures about 96" x 72", and is in very nice gently used condition, with no holes, rips, or stains noted.
