Vintage/Antique Handmade White & Dark Red Pattern Quilt Lovely Hand Quilting
I usually list items that have been handmade by me.... However, I will be listing, now and again, items that have been collected by me for my own personal use and decoration. The items are in good to excellent condition and have been loved and well cared for by me! I will describe the items with as much detail as I can and if you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me! I have quite a collection of handmade vintage/antique quilts and have decided to part with a few.
The quilt is made from a dark red homespun with a tiny gold flower pattern and white. I do not know the pattern of this quilt. The quilt would look wonderful displayed on a bed, over a quilt rack or bench or folded in a cupboard. I would described the quilt as in very good condition with loads of wonderful hand quilting lines.
The quilt does not have any fading or holes on the front or the back, however I have added pictures of where some of the red pieces have come apart from the seam binding around the quilt. The seam binding around the quilt is done by hand so it would be very easy to repair these spots....
Or they can just be left as they are. The last picture shows a small light stain at one corner of the quilt....
This may or may not be easily removed. I did not treat this stain when I laundered the quilt as I did not notice until I went to create this listing and take pictures of the quilt. I would describe the quilt as light to medium weight. The quilt is large and measures about 76" by 75". As with all of my items, this quilt comes from a smoke free home.
