Vintage/Antique Handmade Quilt Wonderful Colors Warm Heavy Unused

  

It is a vintage/Antique Feedsack and Bark cloth patch quilt in "A trip around the world" pattern with wonderful, bright colors. This quilt is heavily made, with all vintage, unused materials.

Made in the 40s, It has never been used! The hand stitches are straight and even, done by a skilled quilter. It has a dense cotton batting and sturdy cotton backing that has aged to a uniform off white color. No stains or smells, and kept in a glass front quilt cupboard, out of the direct sunlight, therefore, there is no fading to be seen on the front/design. It measures 80 x 78 and is shown on a queen bed, but made for a full sized bed.
