Lovely Vtg Dresdan Plate Quilt-Handmade/Hand Quilted-20 Appliqued Dresden Plates
Here's a lovely, brightly colored Dresden Plate quilt. Quilt has 20 Dresden plates with a little variation on size and shape. No centers in the plates--it's just the white quilt. Bright colors with some old timey fabrics-stripes, polka dots, floral, gingham, paisley, Strawberries, roses, plaid, Seersucker. Only noticed one quilt piece that was shredded a little.
Pink sashing with lavender connecting squares. Quilt is in good vintage condition with a few flaws. Has 2 places of black on the white binding (pic #8), one small hole near an edge (last pic), only noticed one small open seam (pic #6), pic #11 shows some light stains. Binding is gently frayed along 2 edges-pic #7.
Measures approximately 90" long x 75" wide. Has been laundered and line dried. I consider this to be a medium weight quilt. Lots of charm and history in these vintage quilts.
