BRIGHT COLORFUL VINTAGE HANDMADE LONE STAR QUILT 70 X 82 ff
HAND QUILTED TEXAS LONE STAR QUILT. All hand quilted, so there are many hours of hand sewing in this product. The pattern is not the easiest to put together either! The quilt measures about 70" x 82".
The hand stitches are 6 - 7 per inch. The star is made of many diamond-shaped pieces in solid colors of red, orange, yellow, melon, deep pink, green, purple, blue, pale blue and pale pink.
It is machine pieced and hand quilted. The background is white; the binding and backing are both cantaloupe melon color.The batting is poly fiberfil. The quilting design is in the shape of a flower. The overall size of the star is about 67" x 67". The only issue I found was that a couple of diamond shapes look somewhat different in color or perhaps faded.
I show it in the last photo. It appears to kind of blend in as though it was shaded colors. She had many quilts in her collection.
