Antique Vintage QUILT Green Raspberry Pink Fan Sunrise Rays Hearts Scalloped Edges Handmade 78x81. Of Note: Good Antique Vintage condition.
Im no expert on quilt making but this looks to be all handmade & hand stitched; even the long seams (see pic 7). Doesnt appear to have been touched by a machine. A small very light stain more like a faded area from a stain removal (pic 9) on front & 3 areas on the pink backing scalloped edges that were poorly repaired / sewn.
At least they left the long thread tails. (see pics 10 & 11 for locations / close-ups). There are a number of areas w/ missing stitches. See last pic for an example.
Mainly on some of the rays / fans & hearts. Please be sure to use the ZOOM feature. Stitches per inch run between 4 5 on the quilting and 8-9 on the seams. Looks clean faint sachet storage smell. Size: approx 78 wide x 81 long see pics w/ tape measures for additional measurements.FYI: Displayed on a Queen size bed.
